Area Under the Curve – Riemann Sums & Definite Integral
How to use
Choose a function f(x).
Use sliders for a and b to set the interval [a, b].
Use n to control the number of rectangles (Riemann sum).
Choose a method: left / right / midpoint rectangles.
The shaded rectangles approximate the area under the curve on [a, b].
The exact value of the definite integral
∫ab f(x) dx is computed and shown for comparison.
As n → ∞, the Riemann sum → the definite integral.
